{"id":22282,"date":"2024-09-30T10:19:22","date_gmt":"2024-09-30T08:19:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.padoan.it\/tanktribe-4-xtremes-some-of-our-highlights-in-chile-and-argentina\/"},"modified":"2024-10-01T11:10:39","modified_gmt":"2024-10-01T09:10:39","slug":"tanktribe-4-xtremes-some-of-our-highlights-in-chile-and-argentina","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.padoan.it\/fr\/tanktribe-4-xtremes-some-of-our-highlights-in-chile-and-argentina\/","title":{"rendered":"TANKTRIBE \u2013 4-XTREMES: Some of our Highlights in Chile and Argentina"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the latest articles, we have talked a lot about the technical aspects regarding our fuel tanks and why we chose the set up we have.<\/p>\n<p>This time, we would like to share with you some impressions of various routes in South America, because it\u2019s precisely these remote routes that we can explore and enjoy, <em>thanks to the range and safety our tanks provide us<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve driven on routes like the famous <em>Carretera Austral<\/em>, the <em>1,240-kilometer road<\/em> that runs <em>through the northern part of Chilean Patagonia<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>A large portion of it is unpaved, which is part of its charm. We&#8217;ve also driven the Ruta 40, which stretches 5,224 kilometers across Argentina, making it the longest national road in Argentina and a very popular travel route.<\/p>\n<p>But we&#8217;ve also explored less-known routes like the <em>Ruta 12<\/em> and<em> Ruta 41<\/em> in <em>Argentina.<\/em> In northern Chile, we driven the <em>Ruta del Desierto<\/em>, where you can explore <em>salt lagoons, moonlike landscapes, starry night skies, and hot water geysers<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>We also traversed some mountain passes as high as 4,800 meters above sea level, offering fantastic views, where you are higher than the highest mountain in the European Union! \u2026only here, you are still surrounded by even higher peaks.<\/p>\n<p>However, our personal highlight was exploring the chilean part of Tierra del Fuego.<\/p>\n<p>Being completely isolated from any infrastructure, we were able to completely immerse ourselves in the unique nature and have close up encounters with animals.<\/p>\n<p>These are just a few of the places we\u2019ve visited so far, and there are countless more to discover.
